My Housing Voice is a project designed to understand the housing preferences and support needs of people with autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities (A/I/DD) in Northeast Wisconsin.

The project collects input from self-advocates, families, and caregivers so community leaders can better understand what types of housing and supports should be developed in the region.

The goal is to gather local data that helps communities create more supportive housing models and inclusive neighborhoods. The results will help inform housing development, policy discussions, and long-term community planning.

Many adults with autism and/or intellectual or developmental disabilities (A/I/DD) have limited housing options in Northeast Wisconsin. People also have different levels of support needs, from living independently with occasional help to needing more regular support, and many need affordable housing due to limited income. My Housing Voice will gather input from self-advocates and families to help communities understand what types of housing and support services are needed.
